Program Overview
Our exclusive NBR Shadowing Program is a six-week, customized training experience designed to elevate your skills and ensure you’re fully prepared to become a certified NBR artist. This intensive program combines personalized one-on-one coaching, hands-on shadowing, and weekly assignments focused on your unique needs as an artist and on mastering the NBR technique.
Inside look: what to expect inside a Shadowing Day
Program Breakdown
Pre-Training (6 Weeks)
- 1 hour call each week with your trainer
- Focused on specific needs for you as an artist and on mastering NBR
- Weekly assignments will be given to build your skills, and must be completed and submitted to the trainer for review
Shadowing Days
- Two full-paying NBR clients for hands-on practice
- Final appointment: 1-hour one-on-one shadowing on a doll head to refine techniques
- Post-Session Review: Your trainer will provide feedback and guidance
Day
- Repeat the same process as Day 1
- Continue practicing NBR techniques and building confidence under the trainer’s guidance
Each Artist’s Progression
- Each artist must complete all assignments and shadowing sessions to become certified
- Customized Program: Every session is tailored to meet your needs and challenges, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and skill development
- Certification Requirements: To be fully certified, you must meet all program requirements, including successful completion of shadowing and assignments
Client Interaction & Workflow Support
One of the key benefits of the shadowing program is gaining insight into how your mentor interacts with clients and navigates the overall workflow. This is invaluable for mastering the client experience and understanding the nuances of communication, professionalism, and service.
- Real-Time Client Interactions: You’ll observe your mentor engaging with clients, allowing you to see how they build rapport, manage expectations, and deliver the NBR experience effectively.
- Personalized Coaching: After each shadowing session, you’ll receive one-on-one guidance and coaching from your mentor. This debriefing session helps reinforce what you’ve learned, answer any questions, and address any challenges you may have faced while watching your mentor in action. You’ll also gain insights on how to improve your own client interactions and workflow efficiency.

- Understanding the artist’s goals, challenges, and aspirations
- Creating a customized path for NBR certification
- Addressing any specific challenges the artist may face in their business, such as client management, workflow, or technical skills
- Ensuring the artist is fully prepared and aligned with the expectations of the shadowing program
