Your 2-day in-person class is the ultimate training experience! We believe that hands-on learning is essential for mastering any skill. But what sets us apart is our focus on providing feedback to our artists, enabling them to make changes and avoid developing bad habits that could hinder their progress.

 

Over two action-packed days, you’ll join a small group of no more than 10 other talented stylists. Together, you’ll witness an NBR transformation being performed on a live model, going through each step in detail.

 

We’ll also take a deep dive into the marketing conversations that you started unpacking in your pre-training.

Pre-training begins 4 weeks out from your class. Calls are on Mondays at 10:00 am PST and are recorded should you not be able to join live.

Our classes do not include a hotel or airfare, but we offer a group rate at the closest hotel!

We value our education so much that we do not give refunds. However, we are happy to look at future available class dates in the event you are unable to attend.

No. Although you are recognized for completing the course our Artist Directory is reserved for Licensed NBR® Artists. In order to become Licensed you must graduate from the 4-Phase DKW Styling Academy.

Yes! We fully believe in the power of continued education, and if you’re ready to join The Academy after your class then we would be happy to have you as part of The NBR Tribe!

Assignments can be completed on a doll head, so there’s no need to stress about having someone to practice on. You can work at your own pace and get feedback on your progress along the way!

We believe that lunch is not just a meal but a valuable opportunity to connect with your fellow artists! That’s why we’ll be providing lunch on both days, giving you ample time to network, ask questions, and learn from your peers. 

 

You can also expect various snacks available whenever you’d like, coffee, tea, and a fully stocked fridge with energy drinks, water, sparkling waters, and more!
