With a decade of experience in the hair industry, Liz’s journey began with haircuts before venturing into the world of coloring. However, her days were filled with exhaustion and a lingering sense of unfulfillment, as she worked long hours behind the chair. Realizing the need for change, Liz bravely decided to explore the world of hair extensions, deciding to master the Natural Beaded Rows (NBR) method.
The Power of Education
Liz stumbled upon NBR six years ago, only to be initially dissuaded from pursuing it.
After a few years of listening to her inner calling, she finally took the plunge and enrolled in NBR Education in April 2021.
Recognizing her potential to be an extraordinary Artist for her clients, Liz embarked on a journey of self-improvement.
She immersed herself in color courses and dedicated herself to mastering the NBR Extension method, all in pursuit of attracting more high paying NBR clients to her chair.
Crafting a Balanced Life
Liz’s determination to establish a healthier work-life balance was at the heart of her aspirations. The toll of grueling work hours and sacrificing personal time became flawed.
Liz made a choice to reduce her workdays, shifting to a three-to-four-day work week and saying farewell to working Saturdays. This shift allowed her to place a premium on quality time with loved ones and explore her interests beyond her career.
Transitioning to a new schedule and setting boundaries with clients posed a significant challenge. Initiating conversations about price increases and no longer taking low-paying services was initially daunting for Liz.
However, she came to realize the importance of open communication. She worked on having face-to-face discussions with her clients, articulating her goals and aspirations behind the changes while emphasizing her commitment to delivering top-notch services.
Through these honest conversations, Liz navigated these transitions with grace and respect.
Although Liz has tasted success in her career as a color specialist and NBR Artist, she remains steadfast in her pursuit of the next level.
Her vision is to create a cohesive space alongside like-minded Artists and to draw even more NBR clients to her chair.
Liz wholeheartedly understands that growth and progress are an ongoing journey, and she’s excited about the boundless possibilities that await her.
