THE 4 PHASES OF YOUR ACADEMY

In the Academy, each phase encompasses lessons in both NBR and BMS. We highly recommend following the order of the lessons, as it ensures a comprehensive learning experience. However, in some cases, a specific order is mandatory.

The structure of each phase may vary between Linear and Free Form:

  • Linear: This structure requires you to progress through the course in the designated step sequence. Each lesson builds upon the previous one, allowing for a logical and structured progression of your skills and knowledge.
  • Free Flow: With this structure, you have the freedom to move through the course at your own pace, without adhering to a strict step sequence. This flexibility allows you to explore topics and areas of interest according to your preferences and needs.

Below, you will find detailed information on what to expect and how to progress through each phase, ensuring a smooth and effective learning journey!

ACADEMY PHASE #1

INTRODUCTION

  • At the beginning of your Academy journey, you will be introduced to the tools and basic principles of NBR and the core business lessons inside BMS.

     

    In the NBR video lessons, you will be taken through an entire NBR installation process from start to finish, and a quiz will follow each lesson to ensure that you have acquired a solid understanding of the content.

     

    To further reinforce your learning, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in practical assessments. By submitting your NBR work, whether it's on a doll head or a human, you will receive personalized feedback on areas that can be improved. Depending on your comfort level and experience, you can choose what’s appropriate for your submissions.

  • The introduction to BMS will cover vital aspects of establishing yourself as a successful stylist in the niche hair extensions market. Although you will complete all the steps, you can move freely between the BMS lessons and assignments.

    After acquiring the knowledge, it's crucial to commit it to memory. By joining us in person for your first Academy Intensive, you can solidify your understanding through real-time coaching and feedback from your NBR Educators. This invaluable experience will prepare you to advance to the next phase confidently.

FOUNDATION

  • Now that you’ve learned the basics, it's time to strengthen and solidify your foundations for success. Phase 2 will intensify your learning by focusing on areas for improvement and developing habits that support consistent progress and skill mastery.

     

    As you consume the foundational curriculum inside Phase 2 you will continue to implement your discoveries both in front of and behind the chair.

     

    The focus here inside NBR is to hone in on areas for improvement, ensuring you are fine-tuning your skills. You'll now be required to submit your NBR work on a human, and while you've made progress, it's common to redo Practical Assignments to apply your learning.  Perfection is not required, but being open to feedback is.

  • Dive deeper into BMS to master consultations, create professional contracts, and develop a killer marketing plan that will keep you booked months in advance with NBR Clients. Standing out in the beauty industry requires more than just technical skills, so we'll also teach you how to capture stunning photos that attract more clients and showcase your work.

    As you progress, you may encounter new pressures and stresses. In Phase 2, you'll learn to utilize a powerful tool called the Stack, which will help you process situations and explore new possibilities. By focusing on these aspects, Phase 2 will further enhance your skills and prepare you for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in your journey.

  • You’ve reached the midpoint of your Academy journey, and it's time to take things to the next level. Your commitment to growth and your openness to feedback have demonstrated your dedication to becoming a master both in and out of the salon.

     

    In Phase 3, the lines between theory and practical assignments blur as we adopt a more integrated approach. This allows you to advance one lesson at a time, focusing on fine-tuning specific skills with precision and mastery.

     

    With a solid foundation in NBR, it's time for the final checks in beadwork, hair placement, stitching, and ensuring flawless start and end beads. Embrace this opportunity to learn and evolve from each client interaction. What valuable insights can you learn from their return visits and feedback?

  • As your NBR skills continue to flourish, you will notice an increased need to cultivate your business mindset and enhance your entrepreneurial skills. Discover the art of lead generation through automated funnels, unlock the potential of the Fact Map technique, and set ambitious goals that will propel both you and your business to unprecedented heights of success. Remember, knowledge is power, and we will equip you with the tools to analyze your financial data and take control of your finances like a seasoned boss.

    To further solidify your expertise, return to headquarters for your second Academy Intensive. This invaluable in-person experience will provide you with checks and balances, ensuring your confidence in all aspects of your work. 

    As you approach Phase 4, your submissions will gradually shift towards portfolio development, placing more emphasis on showcasing your expertise rather than skill building. Stay committed, stay inspired, your journey towards becoming a Licensed NBR Artist continues!

ACADEMY CONVENTION

As a part of the Academy, you are invited to join your tribe for the annual Academy Convention! Discover the latest developments in the NBR method and enhance your skills by practicing and implementing them before you travel home.

You have the flexibility to choose which benefits to utilize, whether it's all of them or none at all. However, the ultimate goal remains the same: graduating from the Academy and earning your title as a Licensed NBR Artist and securing your place on the Artist Directory.

While there is significant work ahead, the path is straightforward.

LEARN

Begin your journey by immersing yourself in Phase One’s lessons and promptly book your first Intensive.

INTEGRATE

Continuing through the Academy program, make use of the support from your coaches and tribe to keep progressing to the next level.

REVISIT

 In Phase 3, revisit us in person and witness the substantial progress you’ve made since your first Intensive.

COMPLETE

Finish your remaining lessons and assignments within the Academy.

SET UP

Establish your listing as a Licensed NBR Artist and secure your ticket to attend the next Academy convention, where you can partake in your graduation ceremony.

CONTINUE

Now that you hold the title of Licensed NBR Artist, you have the option to join the Mastermind program and further expand your education.
